Garrun Assist is a simple, innovative smart phone app, specifically designed for clients of Garrun Group Insurance Brokers. Aimed to enhance the policy holder’s experience with several exciting functions such as viewing your policy, simple policy change requests together with an easy-to-use, step-by-step guide reminding you and your family of the important steps to take in the event of an accident to get your claim started right at the accident scene.

Features:
- Policy holders will be able to view their insurance policies live and have 24 hour access to view their cover.
- Policy holders will be able to access Garrun Group suite of customised Garrun Assist assistance and emergency services via the app with content that explains what they are covered for prior to calling the call centre.
- There is a built-in panic button to push in case of a roadside emergency. The panic button will send an alert into the call centre to “call back” the client and arrange immediate assistance.
- They will be able to submit and store important information about themselves or their family on the app to access in an emergency situation.
- Functionality is built-in to lodge a notification of incident to expedite a claim with step-by-step assistance on the app. Helps you collect information from drivers, passengers, witnesses, and police. This notification includes the ability to scan the barcode on the third parties’ vehicle license disk as well as driver’s license disk. The data within the barcode is seamlessly decrypted and pre-populated within the app to simplify the process.
- Our clients will also be prompted to take the required photo evidence at the scene and these photos will be date and time stamped so as to keep a proper audit trail and enable you to expedite the processing of the claim.
- You are able to send all of the information to us via email, so we can start processing your claim straight away.
- Keeps track of your submitted claims and accident reports.
- Additional cover can be requested via the app and policy holders can include photographs, scan their license disk detail to capture relevant data about a vehicle and add their own descriptions for example. They will be able to take photos of the front, side and back of the vehicle
- Send change requests to policy and store values, purchase dates, descriptions and photos of items added.
- Recommendations can be made to friends about our products and services.
- Clients will receive the latest news and updates from through Push Notifications.

* You’ll need to create a report at the accident scene for the app to accurately record the date, time and location. This feature also requires that location services be available on your device.
